Psychiatric Tech Jobs
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, a Psychiatric Technician is responsible for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, think critically, and coordinate patient care. Consistently performs according to established standards and assists others in the management of patient care. Some job duties of a Psychiatric Technician may include:
- Managing patient care effectively and safely
- Promoting and participating in activities to facilitate good interpersonal relations with patients/family/significant others, hospital healthcare co-workers, Physicians, and all facility personnel
- Representing Maxim in the hospital setting in a positive image
- Adhering to all Maxim and worksite rules, Policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
